NILIT, producer of nylon 6.6, introduced its latest performance fiber, NILIT Heat, at ISPO Munich 2014 in Germany. The new yarn is designed to conserve and maintain natural body heat, keeping wearers warmer and protecting from outside low temperatures. The fiber offers thermo insulation, anti-bacterial properties, a deodorizing effect, and a sweat-free sensation. The environmentally friendly NILIT Heat product uses a coffee charcoal, created from coffee bean residue, integrated in the nylon fiber. The product is best used knitted as the inner layer of a garment closest to the body; it can be used in winter wear, base layers, sportswear, underwear, socks and leg wear.
