SAATI taps Woodham to lead U.S. unit

SAATI Americas Corp., Fountain Inn, S.C., a wholly owned subsidiary of the SAATI Group, has named industry veteran Woody Woodham vice president of the company’s U.S. Protection Division. Woodham will direct SAATI America’s Protection business strategy in the body-armor industry.

Woodham has more than 26 years of experience in the advanced woven composite fabrics industry. He has previously held positions with Unequal Technologies Co., a provider of supplemental protection technology; Barrday Composite Solutions, a protective, composite and energy markets business; and Honeywell Advanced Fibers and Composites.

SAATI is an Italian advanced textiles and engineered materials company that develops and manufactures products for printing, micro-filtration, lightweight protective armor and structural composite applications.
