IAC free webinar on odor-control technology, markets and regulations

Industry News | November 4, 2014 | By:

The International Antimicrobial Council (IAC), will offer a webinar entitled “Odor Control for Today’s Consumer: Understanding the Technology and the Market” Oct. 22, the first in a series of educational webinars the IAC is producing to improve understanding of the benefits of antimicrobials, as well as the provisions for responsible use.

“It is important for brands and retailers to understand the general science behind the many odor capture and antimicrobial technologies along with their benefits in textile and apparel product applications,” says Robert Monticello, chair of the IAC technical committee who will be presenting the October 22 webinar. “That knowledge can result in effective products that are made responsibly and that meet the increasing demands from consumers for long lasting freshness in their textiles.” Dr. Monticello will discuss odor capture and antimicrobial technologies, the results of recent consumer studies and an overview of regulations.

The IAC is the scientific association that supports manufacturers, brands, and retailers committed to the safe and effective use of antimicrobial technologies.

The webinar is free; to register, contact moderator Dina Dunn at Dina@Blinkready.com.
