Dr. Cool launches cooling active apparel

What's New? | August 14, 2015 | By:

Dr. Cool, the apparel brand of Portsmouth, N.H.-based material innovation company Tempnology, has launched its collection of cooling apparel and accessories for men, women and children. The line, built on a foundation of chemical-free cooling, is designed for a variety of sports and other physical activities. Building upon the successful launch of Dr. Cool ice wraps, the new products utilize Coolcore’s temperature-regulated material, the first chemical-free cooling material for the textile market.

As opposed to the wicking technology that typically uses a topical chemical agent, Dr. Cool accessories and apparel make moisture and sweat work for consumers. Its moisture- and sweat-activated materials deliver wicking, moisture circulation and regulated evaporation, reducing the fabric’s surface temperature up to 30 percent and providing comfort during high-performance or day-to-day activities. All products are available online and at select specialty running and sporting goods retail locations.
