Freudenberg Performance Materials, an arm of German specialty fabrics innovator Fredenberg Group, presents its Evolon microfilament fabric in towels, improving their absorbability and drying time. Evolon towels will dry two to three times more quickly than traditional towels; they can also be washed at temperatures up to 95°C and can be optionally equipped with built-in antibacterial properties.
Evolon can be dyed or printed using continuous or digital printing methods, increasing the possibilities for extending the range and for personalization. The towels can be produced based on original Evolon with its flat structure or brand new Evolon 3D for an even greater textile look and feel. Additionally, savings in water and energy can be achieved when washing Evolon towels; up to five times more Evolon towels can be washed in one maintenance cycle than towels traditionally used by fitness clubs or hoteliers.
Evolon fabrics are certified Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Product Class I, are manufactured in Europe in accordance with ISO 14001 certification for respecting the environment, ISO 50001 for the company’s continuous program to reduce energy consumption and OHSAS 18001 for the health and safety of employees.
