Hohenstein accredited to test textile wastewater

EcoNote | September 17, 2019 | By:

The Hohenstein Institute recently reported on its accreditation to test wastewater. The technology responds to what the company notes as global campaigns that have drawn the public’s attention to the use of 11 harmful chemical groups in textile production.

Hohenstein’s global laboratories test wastewater to reduce companies’ environmental impact. The company reports it is accredited to provide independent proof of compliance with industry requirements and standards, such as ZDHC, OEKO-TEX and Greenpeace Detox, and it can test wastewater to international standards or for specific textile-related substances, helping companies improve processes and environmental responsibility.

Headquartered in Germany, Hohenstein has labs and offices around the world, dedicated to customized testing and research to advance the textiles industry.
