The “Helmdo” helmet

German design studio Bless rethinks the bicycle helmet with a lightweight, eye-catching alternative: the “Helmdo. It includes layers of nylon and PVD soft braids woven from front to back, with the thicker braids towards the top—creating a hairstyle of its own. The helmet comes in brown (or brunette) and attaches with an adjustable plastic strap.

Manufactured in France, the helmet is available at Creatures of Comfort, a U.S. apparel retailer.
