Intel security chief to address wearable tech vulnerability

Industry News | June 11, 2015 | By:

Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC) has announced that Intel Security Chief Consumer Security Evangelist Gary Davis will be the keynote speaker at the Wearable Tech Conference & Expo July 13-15, 2015, at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City, N.Y. The event provides attendees with new perspectives on wearable tech devices and technology.

“As the wearable ecosystem continues to grow and devices become more interconnected, there are more security considerations that both consumers and businesses need to be mindful of to stay secure,” Davis said. “The more we’re able to educate people, the better they will be able to understand the importance of balancing the convenience of these devices with the need to be safe.”

Davis will address the conference July 15. In his speech, “Wearables: Panacea or Pandora’s Box–A Security Perspective,” he will discuss the data that is being created by this new ecosystem, how companies are working to ensure users’ data is safe and more.

Based in Norwalk, Conn., TMC is a global, integrated media company.
