Concept III, Coolcore® form partnership

What's New? | July 22, 2015 | By:

Concept, CoolcoreConcept III Textiles International of Red Bank, N.J., developers of finished fabrics for the outdoor and activewear markets, has added Coolcore® to its network of brands offering chemical-free wicking, cooling and drying performance. Coolcore’s fabrics will be presented by Concept III at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in August.

Coolcore’s fabric technology combines fibers and cross-sectioning for three specific functions: wicking, moisture transportation and controlling moisture-evaporation for cooling. The components help reduce the fabric’s surface temperature up to 30 percent lower than skin temperature, and the performance benefits never wash out.

In spring 2016, several outdoor-apparel brands will launch collections featuring Coolcore fabrics. Coolcore currently is available in Dr. Cool Recovery-On-The-Go Wraps, the only wrap to combine ice and compression in one flexible wrap for recovery on the go, as well as chemical-free Cooling Accessories and Shirts.
