Numerous German brand partners of Sympatex Technologies, such as Vaude, Gonso, Local Outerwear and Protective, presented their latest products at Eurobike 2015 in Friedrichshafen, Germany. Sympatex customers increasingly use such Sympatex technologies as Phaseable® oder HigH2Out®.
Bike wear specialist Local Outerwear uses Phaseable for its new bike combination Attendant Jacket and Shorts. Sympatex’s Phaseable adapts to the activity of the wearer, creating a permanently comfortable body climate, even during intense sporting activities. The products are completely produced within the European Union to optimize the carbon footprint, and the “guaranteed green” Sympatex membrane is recyclable and free from PTFE and PFC. The garments are also treated with the fluorocarbon-free DWR Bionic Finish® Eco.
Protective and Gonso also are using Sympatex technologies in their active wear. Protective uses HigH2Out in its three-layer all-weather bike jacket Mt. Gambier. In combination with a particularly absorbent textile layer, moisture is transported quickly and effectively through the hydrophilic Sympatex membrane for rain protection. GONSO presented its all-weather Pole V2 jacket; its hydrophilic membrane is PTFE-free and PFC-free and it’s recyclable.
VAUDE’s Moab Mid STX flat, pedal shoes for mountain bikers are waterproof, windproof and breathable.
Germany’s Sympatex develops, manufactures and sells membranes, laminated and functional textiles, as well as fully finished products.
