Wrangler, Milliken launch flame-resistant jeans

What's New? | October 5, 2015 | By:

Greensboro, N.C.–based Wrangler® has announced the launch of its Wrangler Flame Resistant (FR) Advanced Comfort jeans, the newest extension of the brand’s performance apparel featuring four-way flex technology that allows the jeans to move with the wearer.

Wrangler partnered with Westex by Milliken to engineer the new line. Specialty chemical developer Milliken’s Westex® Indigo denim is a unique blend of fibers designed to increase mobility, durability and comfort that exceeds flame-resistance requirements from such leading protection agencies as the National Fire Protection Agency, the American Society of Testing and Materials, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

The jeans will feature room2move® technology in a regular and relaxed fit with gusseted construction, reinforced back pockets and extra deep front pockets. The product will be available on Wrangler.com and from retailers in March 2016.
