Devan launches CBD fabric treatments

Devan Chemicals has launched its CBD (cannabidiol) fabric treatment. The company says that its Acabada ProActiveWear is the world’s first CBD-infused activewear brand, intended to help people manage pain. 

CBD molecules are infused into fabrics by wrapping microscopic droplets of zero-THC, hemp-derived CBD with a protective coating. Placed within the garments to align with muscle groups, the microcapsules open over time and the CBD is released and transdermally absorbed, where it interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system to help regulate and reduce pain and inflammation.
