USA Global Trade launches binational textile initiative to bridge U.S., Latin America

USA Global Trade LLC, a Miami, Fla.-based sourcing and trade company, has announced the launch of a strategic initiative designed to strengthen commercial and production ties between the U.S. and Latin America.

The project has two main objectives:

  • Promote the use of U.S.-grown cotton both in U.S.-spun yarns and spinning mills abroad, encouraging cleaner, more regionally integrated supply chains that start with American fiber.
  • Explore the development of circular knitting operations in North Carolina or nearby textile hubs, adding value locally and revitalizing domestic production capacity.

“With over 20 years of experience in global yarn sourcing, I see strong potential to build a two-way bridge,” says César Cary, textile engineer at USA Global Trade. “Latin American producers are eager to work with high-quality U.S. fibers, while the U.S. textile industry is well positioned to benefit from regional value chains and nearshoring strategies.”

USA Global Trade acts as a procurement partner for small- and medium-sized textile businesses in Latin America, providing access to trusted suppliers of yarns including DTY polyester, poly/cotton blends, viscose, nylon, spandex and rubber threads. The company also operates in close collaboration with VANITEX, a leading Peruvian exporter of knitted fabrics.

As part of this initiative, USA Global Trade also seeks to build deeper connections with the U.S. textile ecosystem through industry collaboration and association engagement.

By combining sourcing expertise, local partnerships and a commitment to regional integration, USA Global Trade aims to contribute to a more resilient and competitive textile industry on both sides of the hemisphere.
