AEC Narrow Fabrics, a textile company in Asheboro, N.C., celebrated its 40th anniversary in January.

Formally known as Asheboro Elastics Corp, it was founded in 1986 by Keith and Jane Crisco.

“Reaching 40 years is a deeply meaningful milestone,” says Jeff Crisco, AEC president and second-generation leader. “This is legacy creation, and we owe it to our employees, partners and customers who have placed their confidence in us over the years.”

Looking ahead, AEC said it remains committed to developing creative and responsible textile solutions to meet the demands of a changing global marketplace.

AEC operates manufacturing facilities in North Carolina, Mexico and El Salvador, serving a range of end markets including automotive, apparel, bedding, medical, military and industrial applications. Its product portfolio includes narrow fabrics used in underwear, intimates, outerwear, athletic wear, hosiery, hats and footwear, as well as industrial strapping and webbing, decorative trims, bindings, ribbons and custom handles for cut-and-sew operations.
