Zund America Inc. (Zünd) will construct a new North American headquarters in Oak Creek, Wis. The building will include loading docks for shipping and receiving, offices, as well as spaces for product display, customer and employee training, and warehousing for their product and miscellaneous materials that support the installation and servicing of Zünd equipment. The new building will be more than 50,000 square feet.

Since 2004 when it was first established, Zünd America’s headquarters has grown from five employees and 10,000 square feet to nearly 80 employees and more than 25,000 square feet of demonstration, service, office and warehouse space in its current Franklin, Wis., headquarters. From these offices, the company supports customers throughout the U.S. and Canada in graphics, packaging, leather, textiles and composites, manufacturing and other industries that rely on the company’s equipment for digital cutting.

Oliver Zünd, Zünd Systemtechnik AG’s CEO and president of Zund America said, “With the completion of our new headquarters, we are very excited to further contribute to the Oak Creek community by not only attracting many visitors from all over the U.S. and Canada, but by also supporting local programs, such as the Oak Creek High School Robotics team.”

Zund America is the U.S. sister company of Swiss manufacturer of multifunctional, digital cutting systems, Zünd Systemtechnik. The project is set to be completed in September of 2019.
