Lenzing AG and Chinese manufacturer NBC announce joint project

(NBC), Hong Kong, announced their joint cooperation on the development of facial masks made with 100 percent TENCEL®Skin. NBC is a manufacturer of skin care products in China. Its vice president Frankie Fan notes, “In Asia, the use of facial masks is daily routine and consumers are critical and very demanding in terms of quality.”

TENCEL Skin has been specifically developed for the use in facial masks and meets the requirements of the Cosmetics Directive which regulates the safety of cosmetic products for human use.

Committed to sustainability, Lenzing makes TENCEL Skin using cellulose fibers derived from the renewable raw material wood, which is sourced from responsibly managed forests. Based on natural resources, TENCEL is bio-degradable and compostable.
