Smart Fabrics & Wearable Technology 2014 will take place April 23-25 in San Francisco, Calif., at the historic Merchant Exchange building, with special events to be held in the Julia Morgan Ballroom and One Leidesdorff.
“You might notice that this event has a new name. Incorporating wearable technology into the conference is a reflection on how the industry has moved,” says Barbara Fowler, Conference Director, for event organizer business Smithers Apex.
The program for Smart Fabrics & Wearable Technology 2014 will once again be shaped by Smithers Apex and an advisory board: Stacey Burr, VP Wearable Sports Electronics, Adidas and Hap Klopp, Chair, Obscura Digital have joined Tom Martin, Associate Professor, Virginia Tech; Dr. Tricia Wilson, President and Principal, Fabric Works; and Kunigunde Cherenack, Research Scientist, Intelligent Textiles Project, HI&E Group, Philips Research.
