Polartec unveils new workwear

Polartec recently unveiled its new fabric collections specifically engineered for contractors, electricians, and oil and gas professionals. The company reports it has worked for years with the U.S. military and workwear markets to develop the new product lines.

Each collection was designed to address daily on-site work performance needs without inhibiting everyday comfort or style. The products include thermo-regulation fabrics for hot and cold environments, and performance knits and finishes like Polartec Hardface.

The new lines include the Contractor Collection; Electrical Collection, with flame-resistant and hi-viz fabrics; and the Oil and Gas Collection, with dual-hazard, flame-resistant and hi-viz technologies.

Polartec products range from lightweight wicking and cooling fabrics, to insulation and weather protection textiles, and are utilized by leading consumer brands, the U.S. military and other global militaries, flame resistance, workwear, and contract upholstery markets.
